Once upon a time in a small village, there lived four brothers.
They were hardworking farmers but always argued with each other over small matters. Their constant fighting made them weak, and even their neighbors started taking advantage of their disunity.
ایک گاؤں میں چار بھائی رہتے تھے۔
وہ محنتی کسان تھے لیکن ہمیشہ چھوٹی چھوٹی باتوں پر جھگڑتے رہتے تھے۔ ان کی آپس کی لڑائی نے انہیں کمزور بنا دیا تھا اور آس پاس کے لوگ بھی ان کی نااتفاقی کا فائدہ اٹھانے لگے۔
Father’s Concern for Unity
Their old father watched them with worry.
He was a wise man who knew that their strength lay in unity. One day, he called them all and gave each of them a stick. He asked them to break it, and each one did it easily.
ان کا بوڑھا باپ بہت فکر مند رہتا تھا۔
وہ ایک سمجھدار شخص تھا اور جانتا تھا کہ ان کی طاقت اتحاد میں ہے۔ ایک دن اس نے اپنے تمام بیٹوں کو بلایا اور ہر ایک کو ایک ایک لکڑی دی۔ اس نے کہا کہ اسے توڑو، اور ہر ایک نے آسانی سے توڑ دیا۔
The Bundle of Sticks
Then, the father tied the sticks together in a bundle and handed it to them.
He asked them to break the bundle. One by one, they all tried, but no one could break it. The father smiled and said, “See, this is the power of unity. If you stay together, no one can harm you.”
پھر باپ نے ان سب لکڑیوں کو باندھ کر ایک گٹھا بنایا اور ان کے حوالے کیا۔
اس نے کہا کہ اب اسے توڑو۔ سب نے کوشش کی لیکن کوئی بھی اسے نہ توڑ سکا۔ باپ مسکرایا اور کہا: “دیکھو، یہی اتحاد کی طاقت ہے۔ اگر تم سب ساتھ رہو گے تو کوئی تمہیں نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتا۔
A Lesson Learnt
The brothers understood the lesson.
From that day on, they started living and working together peacefully. Their unity brought them respect, success, and happiness in the village.
بھائیوں نے سبق سیکھ لیا۔
اس دن کے بعد وہ سب مل کر رہنے لگے اور ایک ساتھ کام کرنے لگے۔ ان کا اتحاد انہیں عزت، کامیابی اور خوشی لے آیا۔
Moral of the Story
Unity brings strength.
No matter how strong a person is alone, true strength comes when people work together in harmony. Whether it is a family, a team, or a country—unity makes everyone powerful.
کہانی کا سبق: اتحاد میں طاقت ہے۔
چاہے کوئی شخص کتنا ہی طاقتور کیوں نہ ہو، اصل طاقت تب آتی ہے جب لوگ آپس میں مل کر کام کرتے ہیں۔ چاہے وہ خاندان ہو، ٹیم ہو یا ملک—اتحاد ہی سب کو طاقتور بناتا ہے۔
