The Guyana Amazon Warriors have officially confirmed the signing of Australian wicket-keeper batter Ben McDermott for the Caribbean Premier League 2025 (CPL25). The experienced right-hander joins the franchise as a replacement for New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips, who has been ruled out due to injury.
McDermott brings explosive batting firepower and solid wicket-keeping skills to the Warriors’ lineup. The 29-year-old has featured in top T20 leagues around the world, including the Big Bash League (BBL), where he is known for his powerful stroke play and ability to accelerate in the middle overs.
