Trump Confirms Advanced US Military Aid to Ukraine
Former US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will deliver “very sophisticated” military equipment to Ukraine, including the highly sought-after Patriot missile defense systems. He emphasized that Ukraine “desperately needs” this support amid escalating Russian air strikes.
Trump also took aim at Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying, “He talks nice and then bombs people at night,” expressing surprise at the intensity of Russia’s aggression.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently confirmed the resumption of US military assistance. Trump assured that the U.S. will be “100% reimbursed” for the supplies, stating this should have always been the policy.
In a sign of ongoing diplomatic support, US envoy Keith Kellogg arrived in Kyiv and was warmly greeted by Zelensky’s chief of staff.
