اسلام آباد میں وفاقی وزیر برائے آئی ٹی شزا فاطمہ خواجہ نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ مصنوعی ذہانت (AI) کو اسکولوں کے نصاب میں شامل کیا جائے گا، اور پرائمری سطح سے ہی بچوں کو جدید ٹیکنالوجیز سکھائی جائیں گی۔ وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف کے وژن کے مطابق اسلام آباد کو اسمارٹ سٹی میں تبدیل کرنے کا منصوبہ ہے، جس کے تحت تمام اسکولوں، اسپتالوں اور تھانوں کو فائبر آپٹک سے منسلک کیا جائے گا۔
مفت وائی فائی، ایجوکیشن ٹیکنالوجی، اور دور دراز علاقوں تک ڈیجیٹل تعلیم کی سہولتیں فراہم کی جائیں گی۔ وزارتِ صحت کے ساتھ مل کر “ون پیشنٹ، ون آئی ڈی” سسٹم متعارف کروایا جا رہا ہے تاکہ صحت کی سہولیات کو بہتر بنایا جا سکے۔
حکومت کا ہدف ہے کہ پانچ لاکھ نوجوانوں کو جدید ڈیجیٹل مہارتوں کی تربیت دی جائے، جن میں گوگل، ہواوے اور مائیکروسافٹ کی شمولیت شامل ہے۔ یہ تمام اقدامات پاکستان کو عالمی سطح پر مسابقتی آئی ٹی ورک فورس بنانے کے لیے کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
In Islamabad, Federal Minister for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja has announced that artificial intelligence (AI) will be included in the school curriculum, and children will be taught modern technologies from the primary level. According to the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, there is a plan to transform Islamabad into a smart city, under which all schools, hospitals and police stations will be connected to fiber optics.
Free Wi-Fi, education technology, and digital education facilities will be provided to remote areas. A “One Patient, One ID” system is being introduced in collaboration with the Ministry of Health to improve healthcare facilities.
“The government’s goal is to train half a million youth in advanced digital skills, including the involvement of Google, Huawei, and Microsoft. All these steps are being taken to make Pakistan a globally competitive IT workforce.”
